today, i become an adult
Well, I can cross off another one of my "oh god, I have got to do this before I turn 30" goals. I finally, finally (finally, finally) opened up a 401(k). Not only that, but I'm taking the max 6% deduction with a 3% match from my employer and it's being invested in aggressive international funds, because, hello weak dollar.
All those years parked in front of financial news paid off, I guess.
This was the last big responsibility remaining on my list and I've got 2 years 356 days left. Eep.

Is the last thing on your list "get published"?
Hey! Ix-nay on the ook-bay!

(But yes!)
I have 3 different 403(b)'s floating around from 3 different teaching jobs in 3 different districts. When I finally land another one, I plan to actually roll them over into one solid account. I think. Unless a financial-type person tells me it's better to keep them diversified.
